Processing Time

Orders are processed within 1–3 business days of placement. Every order is custom picked, cut, and packed individually — this is not pre-packaged inventory. The warehouse operates Monday through Friday, 10am–5pm Eastern Time, from Bensalem, Pennsylvania.

Processing Details
  • Orders placed before 9am EST on business days typically ship same day or next business day
  • Orders placed after 9am Friday through Sunday begin processing Monday morning
  • Wholesale rolls may require 1–2 additional days for retrieval and packaging
  • High-volume periods (holidays, sales events) may extend processing by 1 to 2 days
  • Swatch-only orders may ship via envelope without tracking

Tracking information is emailed once your order ships. Registered account holders can also track order status in the Orders section of My Account.


Carriers & Estimated Delivery

Domestic delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Transit times below begin after your order ships (add 1–3 business days for processing).

Available Carriers
  • FedEx Ground: 2–6 business days — full tracking included
  • UPS Ground: 2–6 business days — full tracking included
  • USPS Priority Mail: 2–14 business days — full tracking included

USPS Priority Mail delivery estimates are not guaranteed. USPS displays "1-Day," "2-Day," or "3-Day" estimates at checkout based on ZIP codes, but these are estimates only and do not come with a money-back guarantee. From experience, a 1–3 day delay beyond the stated estimate is common. If delivery speed is critical, select FedEx or UPS.

Factors Affecting Delivery Speed
  • Distance from Pennsylvania: West Coast deliveries take longer than East Coast
  • Rural vs. urban: Rural addresses may add 1–2 days transit time
  • Weather and peak seasons: Severe weather and holiday periods (November–December) can extend delivery 1–3 days

Economy Shipping

Economy Shipping is the lowest-cost domestic option. Wazoodle selects the carrier (USPS, FedEx, or UPS) based on availability — you cannot choose a specific carrier with this option.

  • Delivery: 5–10 business days after shipping
  • Carrier: Assigned by Wazoodle — USPS, FedEx, or UPS
  • Tracking: Full tracking included
  • Best for: Non-urgent orders where cost savings matter more than speed

Want a specific carrier? Do NOT select Economy Shipping. Instead, select FedEx, UPS, or USPS directly from the shipping options at checkout.


How Shipping Costs Are Calculated

Shipping costs are calculated by dimensional weight — package volume rather than actual weight determines charges when dimensional weight exceeds actual weight. This is an industry-wide carrier policy (UPS, FedEx since 2015, USPS since 2017), not a Wazoodle surcharge.

Why Dimensional Weight Matters for Fabric
  • Formula: (Length × Width × Height in inches) ÷ 166 = dimensional weight in pounds
  • Carriers charge whichever is higher — actual weight or dimensional weight
  • Fabric rolls are bulky items that occupy significant carrier space, so dimensional weight often exceeds actual weight
  • Example: A Zorb Original 60″ wide roll has a dimensional weight of 84 lbs while its actual weight is only 41 lbs — shipping is charged at 84 lbs
How to See Exact Shipping Costs Before Purchasing
  1. Add items to your shopping cart
  2. Click "View Cart"
  3. Navigate to the Estimate Order Shipping section above "Subtotal"
  4. Enter your Country, State, and Zip Code
  5. Click "Estimate Shipping" to see costs for all available methods

No flat rate shipping available. Due to the bulky nature of fabrics, orders may not ship in USPS Flat Rate envelopes or boxes. In rare cases, additional shipping may be required for oversized items — you will be contacted before any extra charges are applied, and can cancel for a full refund if the cost is unacceptable.

Reducing Shipping Costs
  • Order multiple items together — consolidated shipping reduces per-item cost compared to separate orders
  • Choose Economy Shipping for non-urgent orders
  • Consider wholesale rolls vs. multiple yardage cuts — rolls ship more efficiently

Special Shipping Situations

Using Your Own FedEx or UPS Account
  • Contact support@wazoodle.com to activate the "Use My UPS/FedEx Account/Shipping Carrier" option at checkout
  • Once activated, the option appears during checkout — add your carrier account details in the order notes before completing the order
Local Pickup
  • Select "Pick Up" under Delivery Method at checkout
  • Retrieve your order from the Bensalem, Pennsylvania warehouse during business hours (Monday–Friday, 10am–5pm EST)
  • No shipping charges apply for pickup orders
Alaska & Hawaii
  • Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is available through all carriers
  • Transit times may be longer than the continental US estimates listed above
  • Use the cart shipping calculator to see exact costs and available methods for your ZIP code
Shipping Insurance
  • Shipping insurance is NOT available by default. If you would like to add Shipping Insurance, then please add a note on the Order Notes at the time of placing your order online. There is an extra charge towards Shipping Insurance
