Every Wazoodle fabric has an availability designation that tells you whether it will be restocked, is limited, or requires a bulk commitment. Understanding these categories helps you plan purchases and avoid surprises — especially for production-critical fabrics.
Stock status changes rapidly. A fabric showing In Stock today may move to Low Stock or Out of Stock without notice. If you depend on a specific fabric for ongoing production, share your annual requirements with Wazoodle to help ensure availability. See Annual Requirements & Supply Chain Planning for details.
To find stock indicators and availability designations on a product page, visit the product page, select the Yards or Roll option, and look for the status icons. See Navigating Our Product Pages for a full walkthrough.
Requesting a Restock or Sharing Annual Requirements
If a fabric you need is Low Stock or Out of Stock, you have two options to signal demand to Wazoodle.
Development Trial Lots (Dev Lots)
Dev Lots are fabrics that didn't meet their intended production specifications during manufacturing. They may have characteristics like different weight, width, stretch, or shrinkage from what was planned. Rather than discard them, we use them to collect valuable user feedback to improve future production runs.
See Swatches, Samples & Testing Before You Buy to order standard swatches of any fabric before purchasing Dev Lot quantities.
Seconds Quality Fabrics
Seconds are fabrics with visible cosmetic defects identified during quality inspection. Unlike Dev Lots (which have off-spec measurements), Seconds have physical imperfections — but the underlying fabric construction and performance are typically unaffected.
Grab Bags — Mystery Fabric Bundles
Grab Bags are mystery bundles containing an assortment of fabrics within a selected fabric style, curated by the Wazoodle team and color-coordinated for variety. They're the deepest discounts Wazoodle offers — but you don't get to choose what's inside.
Grab Bag fabric may not represent first quality. Because bags may contain Dev Lots, Seconds, end cuts, and discontinued fabrics, do not use Grab Bag fabric as a reference for what a fabric looks or performs like at first quality. If you discover a fabric you love in your Grab Bag, order a standard swatch first before purchasing yardage. See Swatches, Samples & Testing Before You Buy.
