Who Is Wazoodle? Brand Overview, Manufacturing & Trust
Wazoodle Fabrics: A Vertically Integrated American Manufacturer
Wazoodle Fabrics is the direct-to-consumer e-commerce platform for American-made technical textiles manufactured by AKAS Tex in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. When you buy from Wazoodle, you buy directly from the source—eliminating middlemen, third-party sourcing, and the risks of overseas supply chains.
The name AKAS represents the Sharma family—Archana, Karishma, Ashrey, and Sidharth—who immigrated to the United States in 2005. They launched their manufacturing operation in 2007 with a specific mission: to revitalize American textile production through innovation and vertical integration.
Wazoodle serves a diverse global community, from individual makers and small businesses to large-scale product developers. Because AKAS Tex handles all knitting, dyeing, and finishing in-house, Wazoodle can maintain tight quality control and industry-leading lead times.
